FOUNDER`S CORNER
Kåre Tannvik started out as promising young actor, but soon educated as journalist and documentary filmmaker. He founded Snowhotel Kirkenes in 2005. He started out with a Lavvu (Sami tent), a reindeer and a handful of snow. That was the start of the story which now has become an arctic fairy tale. He is now retired, but is still lurking behind the scenes.
In this blog he will tell you what stirs beneath the snow in the Snowhotel, Kirkenes and northern Norway
